August 23: International Day for Remembrance of the Slave Trade and Its Abolition
This was a tough holiday. My family went to the State Fair and I had to finish (and start) packing to go back to school. Therefore the closest I could get to any concrete remembrance of the slave trade and its abolition was this piece of crop art that someone made. It is to support the “vote no” campaign to require IDs for people to vote.
