Brittany and I made Three Kings Bread.
Explanation: Three Kings Day is also called Epiphany and is the final day in the 12 days of Christmas celebration and is in honor of the three kings (or wise men). Typically this is the day that the Christmas tree is taken down and burned. In the Eastern Christian Church this is also the day that the nativity is celebrated instead of December 25th. This is also traditionally a day of caroling in order to raise money for charity. This is a very large holiday in Spain as it is a day when children receive presented from the kings (Los Reyes) similar to Santa Claus. Kids leave their shoes outside the night before and wake up to presents in them in the morning. Three Kings Bread (Rosca) is baked with a small figurine inside and the person that gets the piece with the figurine must host the dinner party and make tamales for Candelaria in February. Brittany and I put a dice in ours and it has yet to be found.
